Privacy Policy

Pukla ("Pukla", "we", "us") is a link-in-bio platform by Sikka Software that lets you create one page with all your links. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

1. Who we are

Controller: Sikka Software (Pukla).

Scope: Public link pages, accounts, dashboards, analytics, forms, billing, and support.

2. Data we collect

Account details. Name, email, phone number, password credentials (hashed), sign-in methods, and preferences such as appearance and language.

Content you create. Puklas (pages), links, themes, short links, form definitions, and form submissions sent to you by visitors.

Technical data needed to operate the service. IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from the IP address (city/country level via GeoIP), device type, pages viewed, clicks, timestamps, and error/diagnostic logs.

Billing data. Plan, subscription status, and payment lifecycle events processed by our payment provider (SikkaPay). We do not store full card numbers.

Support data. Messages you send to support, and records needed to answer them.

We do not intentionally collect government IDs, precise geolocation, or biometric data.

3. How we use data

Provide accounts, pages, links, analytics, forms, and billing.
Operate security and abuse prevention (rate limiting, audit logs, account recovery).
Measure aggregate usage (clicks, page views) so creators can understand their audience.
Send service messages: verification codes, subscription confirmations, and support replies.
Improve reliability and fix bugs.

4. Sharing

No sale of personal data. We do not sell your data or your visitors' data.
Processors: hosting, object storage (S3-hosted uploads), email delivery, analytics storage, and payment processing (SikkaPay). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Legal and safety: we may disclose data when required by law or to investigate abuse, fraud, impersonation, or harassment.
Public by design: your public Pukla page, links, and any content you publish there are visible to anyone with the link.

5. Cookies and storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions, language, theme, and security. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on link pages. Analytics shown in your dashboard is first-party (clicks and views on your own pages).

6. Data retention

Analytics (clicks and page views, including raw IP addresses and user agents): retained up to 365 days, then automatically deleted.
Audit logs: kept for 90 days.
Expired login sessions: deleted after 30 days.
Account data: kept while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your puklas, links, and associated data. Backups roll off on their normal cycle.
Support messages: kept as long as needed to handle the request and prevent abuse.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support [at] puk.la. You can also:

Edit your profile, pages, and links directly in the product.
Delete your account at any time, which removes your puklas, links, and associated data.
Ask us to correct inaccurate account details.

We respond to requests within a reasonable time and may ask for verification to protect your account.

8. Security

We apply hashed credentials, short-lived sessions, audit logging, access controls, and encrypted transport (HTTPS). Uploads are image-only and served from isolated storage. No method is perfectly secure, so please use a strong unique password and enable available sign-in protections.

9. Children

Pukla is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact support [at] puk.la and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted here or announced in the product.
